PUBLIC NOTICE
TITLE VI OF THE 1964 CIVIL RIGHTS ACT
"No person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance." The Sevier County Government assures that individuals will not be discriminated against because of race, color, or national origin. Any person(s) or organization(s) that believe they may have been a victim of discrimination based on race, color, or national origin may file a complaint with the Sevier County Title VI coordinator.
ADA STATEMENT
It is the policy of Sevier County to prohibit discrimination or harassment against any qualifying individual with a disability on the basis of disability in regards to the County’s hiring and employment practices, or in the admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs, services or activities. The County shall comply with applicable requirements of Section 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Sevier County Personnel Policies and Procedures, as well as any other applicable law pertaining to disability non-discrimination.
