PARAMEDIC

Sevier County is accepting applications for the position of Paramedic.   Activities associated with the job include responding to a wide variety of emergency situations upon dispatch, administering emergency first aid and transporting victims in need of further medical assistance.  Job responsibilities require thorough experience in emergency response activities, strong organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills and sufficient strength and agility to perform the physically demanding aspects of the job in a variety of weather conditions. This position requires the applicant to be available to work rotating shifts and the flexibility to cover other shifts in the event of absences or other unforeseen circumstances including occasional weekends and Holidays.  Applicants must possess a valid and current Paramedic certification from the State of Tennessee. JUVENILE CORRECTIONS OFFICER

Sevier County government is accepting applications for the position of Juvenile Corrections Officer.  Activities associated with the job include assisting with the intake, processing and incarceration of juveniles and placing them in the most appropriate level of confinement.  Additional duties include the preparing incident reports, monitoring the activities of juvenile inmates and consulting with supervisory staff on a variety of operational issues.  Job related duties require experience working with troubled youth, some knowledge of the judicial system as it applies to juvenile corrections and good organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills.  Successful completion of a post offer physical and drug screen are required prior to employment.

PART-TIME MEDICOLEGAL DEATH INVESTIGATOR
