PUBLIC NOTICE TITLE VI OF THE 1964 CIVIL RIGHTS ACT "No person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance." The Sevier County Government assures that individuals will not be discriminated against because of race, color, or national origin. Any person(s) or organization(s) that believe they may have been a victim of discrimination based on race, color, or national origin may file a complaint with the Sevier County Title VI coordinator.
