Who qualifies for a Protection Order?
To qualify for a protection order you have to show signs of recent physical abuse or to have a recent threat against your life. The person has to be of some relation to you or you must have been involved in a relationship with them.
Child Support Service – Handles court ordered child support cases. To schedule court dates parties in the lawsuit must contact the judge assigned to the case.
Where can I find legal forms?
- The Circuit Court Clerks office cannot provide legal forms.
- Fax filings will be charged $5.00 plus $1.00 per page due at the time of filing.
- Any pleading with a filing fee, appeals from General Sessions, cities, summons bonds, confidential documents or notice of appeal
- Process civil lawsuits over $15,000, workers compensation, property damage, personal injury, divorces, adoptions, auto damage, orders of protection, etc.
