Checklist for a Beer Permit

​New Applications
 
  • Contact building inspectors regarding permits, site plans, environmental health, etc.
 
  • Surveys must be submitted with application. All surveys must be certified and must show a circumference around the building applying for a permit.
 
  • Show any residence within 300 feet of the building
 
  • Show any churches, schools, places of public gathering and cemeteries within 1,000 feet of the building.
 
Transfers and new applications
 
  • Completed application
 
  • $250.00 Application fee to Sevier County Clerk’s office
 
  • All applicants and employees must have background checks completed through the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (www.tn.gov/tbi.html) and submit with the application
 
  • Owner or representative present at Sevier County Beer Board meeting (regularly scheduled for the second Monday of the month at 4 p.m. in courtroom 306W of the courthouse)

PUBLIC NOTICE
TITLE VI OF THE 1964 CIVIL RIGHTS ACT

"No person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance." The Sevier County Government assures that individuals will not be discriminated against because of race, color, or national origin. Any person(s) or organization(s) that believe they may have been a victim of discrimination based on race, color, or national origin may file a complaint with the Sevier County Title VI coordinator.
ADA STATEMENT
It is the policy of Sevier County to prohibit discrimination or harassment against any qualifying individual with a disability on the basis of disability in regards to the County’s hiring and employment practices, or in the admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs, services or activities.
