Checklist for a Beer Permit
New Applications
Transfers and new applications
- Contact building inspectors regarding permits, site plans, environmental health, etc.
- Surveys must be submitted with application. All surveys must be certified and must show a circumference around the building applying for a permit.
- Show any residence within 300 feet of the building
- Show any churches, schools, places of public gathering and cemeteries within 1,000 feet of the building.
Transfers and new applications
- Completed application
- $250.00 Application fee to Sevier County Clerk’s office
- All applicants and employees must have background checks completed through the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (www.tn.gov/tbi.html) and submit with the application
- Owner or representative present at Sevier County Beer Board meeting (regularly scheduled for the second Monday of the month at 4 p.m. in courtroom 306W of the courthouse)
